Southampton, July 11 -- India won the toss and elected to bowl first in the fifth and final T20 International against England at The Rose Bowl on Saturday after the toss was delayed because Team India got caught in traffic while travelling to the stadium, a rare logistical disruption in international cricket.

The match, scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm local time, witnessed an unusual start as India's delayed arrival forced match officials to postpone the toss.

The England team had already reached the venue, while officials waited for the Indian squad before completing the pre-match formalities.
