Bhubaneswar, Aug. 4 -- The TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, on Tuesday launched its Solar Rath campaign from Khurda district to create awareness about rooftop solar systems under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
The campaign was flagged off from the Office of the District Collector, Khurda, which has become the first district in Odisha to surpass 10,000 rooftop solar installations, marking a significant milestone in the state's clean energy transition.
The Solar Rath will travel across the district, reaching villages, Gram Panchayats and blocks to educate consumers about the benefits of rooftop solar systems, government subsidies and the installation process....
