Sujanpur Tira(Hamirpur), Sept. 14 -- Torrential rain last night in Khairi village of Sujanpur assembly constituency, located on the left bank of the River Beas, caused widespread destruction, disrupting life in the area.
Floodwaters and debris washed away roads, inundated farmers' fields, and damaged numerous houses. Some homes were completely buried in debris, while many others developed cracks, forcing residents to live in fear.
According to reports, the heavy rain that began late last night intensified within a few hours, creating a flood-like situation. Three houses were engulfed by an overflowing drain, prompting residents to flee and save their lives.
