Chennai, June 26 -- With the MDMK likely to walk out of the DMK-led alliance tomorrow and support the ruling TVK of Chief Minister Vijay, one of two MLAs stayed away from the party's High level committee meeting held on Saturday, on the eve of General Council (GC) meet, and decided to stay with the DMK.
The high level meeting was chaired by a sulking MDMK General Secretary Vaiko and presided by Principal Secretary and his son Durai Vaiko, who is also a Lok Sabha MP.
According to reports, the meeting discussed the views of the party cadres and was said to have made up its mind to end its nearly a decade long honeymoon with the DMK and extend its support to the TVK. The final decision would be taken at the General Council,the highest policy...
