Jammu, Nov. 4 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday emphasised the importance of united efforts for creating a strong, secure, prosperous and self-reliant Jammu & Kashmir(J&K).
Speaking after inaugurating annual 'Jhiri Mela' at Marh Sub-Division, Sinha called upon the people to take a pledge to embrace the path of selfless service and work towards a just and equal society as envisioned by Baba Jitto.
He also paid obeisance to Baba Jitto and Bua Kauri and dedicated a pilgrim community hall and four modular bus stops, and laid foundation stone for the first 'Indoor Sports Complex' under CSR at Marh Sub-Division.
