Mumbai, June 27 -- Veteran actor Anil Kapoor believes audiences today are no longer drawn to stories based on traditional notions of heroes and heroines. Instead, they connect with characters who command the screen through their strength, conviction and ability to drive the narrative-a quality he describes as "main character energy."Kapoor, who has played many powerful characters in his long film career, said Bollywood has finally seen a popcorn action entertainer, with two actresses like Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh leading the action film. He said that for a long time, cinema was viewed through fixed labels like male lead, female lead, hero, and heroine, but now the mindset of the audience and the way of storytelling has changed.
