Chennai, March 30 -- Soon after Shortly after filing their nomination papers on the opening day today for the April 23 elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin held a roadshow in his Kolathur constituency, even as Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder and actor-politician Vijay in his maiden electoral foray, hit the campaign trail in Perambur constituency and blamed the ruling DMK for failing to ensure the safety of women and children and control the drug menace in the State.
