Chennai, Aug. 2 -- Accusing the principal Opposition DMK of creating hurdles in the Cauvery issue by having tacit understanding with Karnataka Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar, Tamil Nadu Energy Resources and Law Minister CTR Nirmal Kumar on Sunday reiterated that the State government would file a plea in the Supreme Court tomorrow after Karnataka refused to release waters as per the directives of the CWMA.

Talking to reporters at the airport here, the questioned the DMK's move to hurriedly file a separate petition in the Apex Court seeking a direction to Karnataka to comply with the CWMA directive mandating it to release 3,500 cusecs of water per day for 15 days.
