Chennai, Jan. 20 -- Already at loggerheads with the ruling DMK, the New Year session ofthe Tamil Nadu Assembly started on a stormy note on Tuesday with Governor R N Ravi onceagain skipping his customary and traditional address by staging a walk out, over non-recitalof National Anthem, even as Chief Minister M K Stalin vowed to bringing in ConstitutionalAmendments to dispense with this statutory practice.
Later, a clarification statement from Lok Bhavan said the Governor skipped delivering his addressas it contained numerous unsubstantiated and misleading claims and ignored several issues ofgrave public concern.
