Chennai, April 5 -- Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday visited the Swami Vivekananda Blood Centre atCoimbatore.
The Centre, a non-governmental organization functioning under a charitable trust, is engaged in a wide range of welfare activities, with a primary focus on ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need, a Raj Bhavan communique here said.
During his visit, the Governor toured the blood bank facilities and was apprised of the centre's operations, including donor mobilization, blood collection, testing, processing, storage, and distribution systems.
