Chennai, March 24 -- The Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) led by its President and Former union Shipping Minister G K Vasan and dalit oufit Tamilaga Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) of John Pandian on Tuesday night inked the seat sharing pacts with the AIADMK, heading the NDA in Tamil Nadu, for the April 23 Assembly elections.
As per the agreement signed in the presence of AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, who is also the CM face of the NDA, and BJP Tamil Nadu election in-charge and union Minister Piyush Goyal, the TMC was allotted five seats and the TMMK was given one General seat, fullfilling its long pending demand.
