Siliguri, July 12 -- The political battle inside the Trinamool Congress (TMC) appears far from over after the change of power in West Bengal. As of now, the party is heading to North Bengal to start a new chapter.
The party now stands divided into different groups. Along with the Kalighat camp, a new breakaway group led by Ritabrata Banerjee has started building its own organisation across the state.
After announcing district presidents in several districts, the Ritabrata camp has begun the task of rebuilding its organisation. Senior leaders are trying to regain their political base in their respective districts. Party sources said more organisational changes are likely before and after the July 21 programme in Kolkata.
