Kolkata, May 4 -- : The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are evenly poised in early trends emerging from Kolkata and its adjoining constituencies, with both parties leading in key urban pockets after the initial rounds of counting.
Among the prominent TMC leads, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is ahead in Bhabanipur by 1,996 votes against BJP candidate and Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari.
