Tirupati, Sept. 24 -- The Pavitrotsavams at Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor began on Thursday with special rituals.
Following Suprabhatam and Sahasranamarchana, the processional deities were taken to the Yagashala.
Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed with milk, curd, honey, sandalwood, turmeric, coconut water and fruits.
TTD JEO Dr A. Sarat, temple officials, priests and devotees participated in the rituals.
