Tirumala, Aug. 29 -- A series of Vedic rituals, including Varuna Yajna, Parjanya Shanti and Kareeri Ishti Yajnas, will be performed at the Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala from August 30 to September 3, seeking divine blessings for good rainfall and the well-being of humanity.

The five-day rituals will begin on August 30 with Ankurarpanam at 6.30 pm, followed by Ganapati Puja, Punyahavachana and Ritvik Varana ceremonies from 7 pm to 8 pm, TTD said in a release here on Saturday.

From August 31 to September 3, Varuna Yajna, Kareeri Ishti and Parjanya Shanti Homams will be conducted between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham.
