Agartala, Aug. 8 -- The ruling BJP's alliance partner in Tripura, TIPRA Motha, has ruled out forming an alliance with the BJP for the upcoming Village Committee elections under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC), set for next month.

Motha supremo and Tripura's royal scion, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, stated that there has been no discussions with either local BJP officials in Tripura or the party's central figures on seat-sharing or any electoral agreements.

Pradyot, who left for New Delhi today to meet top BJP officials, including union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National General Secretary B L Santosh, dismissed media claims that a seat-sharing deal was in place between TIPRA Motha and the BJP for these electi...
