Kolhapur/Sindhudurg, July 31 -- State Fisheries and Ports Development Minister Nitesh Rane has said that the Tilak family in Pune has extended the invitation to union Home Minister Amit Shah to give away this year's Lokmanya Tilak National Award, with great deliberation.
In a press conference at Sindhudurg this evening, Rane reacting to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut's statement opposing Amit Shah's visit to Pune, said caustically of Raut, "I feel sorry for the political status of MP Sanjay Raut, who criticized Mr Shah's visit to Pune." He also taunted that leaders of a "defunct party" should not dare to speak against the country's Home Minister.
