Bhubaneswar, June 2 -- : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday hailed the birth of four cubs to tigress Zeenat in the Similipal Tiger Reserve, describing it as a proud milestone in the state's wildlife conservation journey.
Expressing his happiness on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister said a new chapter had been added to Odisha's efforts to protect its natural resources and wildlife.
Majhi said Zeenat, the tigress translocated from the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, had given birth to four cubs in the favourable habitat of Similipal.
