Hyderabad, March 31 -- The Hyderabad City Police have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the peaceful conduct of the 'Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra'-the Hanuman Jayanti procession-scheduled to be held in the city on April 2.
A coordination meeting was held at the Osmania Medical College Auditorium in Koti, chaired by Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar, with participation from officials of various departments and representatives of festival organisations.
Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner called for collective efforts to ensure the procession is conducted peacefully, similar to the recently concluded Sri Rama Navami celebrations.
