Mumbai, Nov. 8 -- Properties belonging to Tiger Memon, the key absconding accused and alleged mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, are set to go under the hammer soon.

Central authorities confirmed that the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA) Authority has taken possession of multiple assets, including residential flats in the Al Hussaini building at Mahim, where one of the meetings to plan the deadly attacks had reportedly taken place.

Officials said that eight properties linked to the Memon family have been seized so far, including three flats in the Mahim building once occupied by Tiger Memon, his five brothers, and their mother.
