Shimla, June 22 -- : Three youths were arrested with heroin and drug-related paraphernalia during a raid conducted by police in the Dhalli area of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh.
Acting on a specific tip-off, a police team from Dhalli Police Station conducted a raid at a rented accommodation in Vikas Colony, Dhalli, said a police official on Monday.
The operation was carried out as part of a special drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse in the region.
During the search, police recovered approximately six grams of heroin (commonly known as chitta), a digital weighing machine and a syringe from the room. The seized items indicated alleged involvement in the sale and distribution of narcotic substances.
