Chennai, Aug. 13 -- Three workers were killed and one suffered burns in an explosion at a cracker manufacturing unit at Namaskarithanpatti village near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday afternoon.
Reports received at the polie headquarters confirmed the death of three workers and one injured.
The incident occurred at Krishna Cracker manufacturing unit, which was operating with proper license, when the workers were engaged in handling/mixing chemicals for making crackers when a fire broke out due to friction, resulting in the explosion.
