New Delhi, March 9 -- In the latest update in the Uttam Nagar murder case, sources in the Delhi Police on Monday said that three women from the area have been detained for questioning.
According to sources, Kali alias Sayara, Sharifan and Salma have been detained in connection with the murder of Tarun Khatik.
So far, the Delhi Police have arrested eight persons in the case.
The eighth accused, Imran alias Bunty, was arrested on Sunday. Earlier, the police had arrested Umardeen (49), Jummadeen (36), Kamruddin (36), Mustaque (46), Muzzafar (25), Tahir (18), and a minor.
Extra police personnel and the Rapid Action Force have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
