Jaipur, Aug. 30 -- Three sisters dived in a holy pond in Sarmathura region of Dholpur, early on Sunday, for saving their brother from being drowned, but, none of the quartet could be saved.
Two married siblings Boto (25) and her sister Manorama (22) came to their native village Nathuvapura-Moroli for solemnising the Rakshabandhan with family on Friday.
As part of the festival celebration, the two young ladies along with their brother Ravi (21), cousin sister Kallo (18) and other members of the extended family went to nearby Birja village to pay obeisance at the shrine of the folk deity Heeraman Baba on Saturday evening, a local police official said.
