Sitapur, April 26 -- Three people, including a mother and her son, lost their lives in a tragic road accident on Sunday morning while returning home from a marriage ceremony.
The incident occurred near Angrasi turn on the Sitapur-Gola road under the Kotwali Dehat police station area.
According to police reports, Himanshu Pandey (30), a resident of Arthana in Ramkot, was traveling on a motorcycle with his mother Rekha (50) and Sunita (45) after attending a wedding.
As they reached the Angrasi turn, a speeding truck coming from behind rammed into their bike.
