Chhapra, March 7 -- Three people were killed in separate road accidents during the last 24 hours in Bihar's Saran district.
Police said on Saturday that Bharat Prasad Singh (70), a resident of Mehrouli village, was travelling to the district headquarters on a motorcycle with his son. Near a petrol pump at Dafdarapur village under Dorigunj Police Station area, a car hit their motorcycle, leaving Singh seriously injured.
He was taken to the Sadar Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
In another incident under Dariyapur police station area, Sudama Kumar (20) of Kochwara village died after being run over by a tractor near Dhenuki Bazaar.
