Siwan, Oct. 23 -- Three people were killed in an explosion at an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit at Alampur village under Jamo Bazar police station area in Siwan district of Bihar on Friday.
Siwan Police Superintendent has suspended Jamo Bazar SHO and the local village chowkidar with immediate effect for dereliction in duty at the police station level.
According to a release issued by the Police Superintendent office, teams from the district administration, fire services, electricity department, dog squad and medical department were called to the spot. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also been summoned for scientific investigation, the release added.
