Mumbai, Sept. 20 -- Three persons were killed and another sustained critical injuries after a BMW car crashed on the Mumbai Coastal Road in the early hours of Sunday, police said.
The accident occurred around 0520 hours near Lotus Jetty, opposite Lala College, when the black BMW was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali.
According to the Coastal Road Control Room, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle while speeding, resulting in the crash.
All four occupants were immediately shifted to the civic-run Nair Hospital, where doctors declared three of them brought dead.
The deceased were identified as Shanay Gajjal, 21, and Dhirya Seth, 17, while the identity of the third victim, a 25-year-old man, was yet to be establishe...
