Begusarai, Oct. 22 -- Three people were killed and four others were injured today when a pickup van collided head-on with a truck near the NH-31 crossing under the Sahebpur Kamal police station area in Bihar's Begusarai district.
Police suspect the accident occurred due to over-speeding. The victims were reportedly returning to their home in Bhagalpur district from Varanasi.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Tanveer (18), Mohammad Kalam (45), and Mohammad Nawab (30), all residents of Birbanna village in Bhagalpur.
