Imphal, May 26 -- Security forces and Manipur Police arrested two active insurgent cadres and a vehicle lifter in separate operations carried out across Imphal East district on Monday, police said on Tuesday.
In the first incident, security forces arrested an active cadre of a proscribed outfit from Seijang Awang Leikai under Yaingangpokpi Police Station in the Imphal East district during an operation.
In another operation on the same day, security forces arrested another active insurgent cadre from Khabeisoi Sabal Leikai under Heingang Police Station, Imphal East district, from his residence. One mobile phone was seized from his possession.
