Chandigarh, June 21 -- Punjab Police has claimed a breakthrough against organised crime after dismantling a gangster module allegedly operating under the direction of foreign-based handlers. In a joint operation, the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Amritsar, and Counter Intelligence, Jalandhar, working in coordination with a central agency, arrested three alleged operatives and recovered three sophisticated foreign-made pistols along with ammunition.
