Chhapra, March 13 -- Three people died under mysterious circumstances in Bihar's Saran district within the past 24 hours in an incident suspected to be linked to a hooch tragedy.
Police said Santosh Mahto, a resident of Takht village under the Mashrakh police station area, was brought to Sadar Hospital on Friday with complaints of uneasiness, body pain, and dizziness. He died while undergoing treatment.
"Family members fled from the hospital with the body of the deceased," police said.
Two other individuals with similar symptoms were also admitted to Sadar Hospital. They were identified as Sakuni Nat, a resident of Dhenuki village, and Dharmendra Ra from Sugauli village. Both died during treatment, police added.
