Sitapur, April 5 -- A tragic fire incident in Sitapur district has claimed another life, raising the death toll to three.
Seven-year-old Meenakshi, who had suffered severe burn injuries in the blaze at Saraiya Chalakkapur village in Sadarpur area, died during treatment on Sunday morning.
Earlier, two women-Phoolmati and Idura-had also lost their lives in the same incident. The devastating fire, which broke out on Saturday night, destroyed at least 14 houses, leaving the village in deep mourning.
Administrative officials reached the spot on Sunday morning to assess the situation and provide relief.
