Agartala, June 27 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, union Minister of State for DoNER Dr Sukanta Mujumdar, and state Agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath today inaugurated the Tripura Global Pineapple Festival 2026 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi.
The event brought together policymakers, farmers, traders, exporters, and visitors from across India with the aim of positioning Tripura's GI-tagged Queen Pineapple as a premium agricultural brand and strengthening the state's image as a leading horticultural hub in Northeast India.
