Panchkula, Sept. 8 -- Haryana Police have arrested three people, including an account holder, in connection with the cyber fraud in which Rs 15.34 lakh was allegedly siphoned off from a school's bank account after a malicious APK file was sent to a mobile phone in the name of paying a water bill.
According to a Haryana Police spokesperson, the Cyber Police Station, Ballabgarh, arrested the three accused from Uttar Pradesh on September 6. They were identified as Amit, a resident of Alipur village in Sitapur district; Ankul, a resident of Rajwapur Ahiran village in Lakhimpur Kheri district; and Sachin Kumar, a resident of Ban Bahol village in Lakhimpur Kheri district.
