Bengaluru, June 7 -- Three youths have been arrested after a group of youngsters allegedly brandished machetes while riding motorcycles in a Bengaluru neighbourhood, creating panic among residents, police said on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 7.30 pm on May 30 at Pillanna Garden near Tannery Road in east Bengaluru. A video of the episode, showing youths displaying machetes in public, later went viral on social media, prompting police to initiate an investigation.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), eight youths were travelling on two motorcycles when the incident took place. Two members of the group were allegedly seen wielding machetes while moving through the area.
