Hyderabad, Oct. 27 -- Kanchanbagh police have apprehended three persons in connection with a case involving alleged repeated sexual assaults, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation of an 18-year-old woman.
According to police release on Tuesday, a case was registered under Sections 64(2)(m), 127(4) and 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on a complaint lodged by the woman on October 26.
As per the complaint, the woman came to Hyderabad in May 2026 with Mohammed Fayaz, who had allegedly promised to marry her. Following their reported marriage, they lived in a rented house at Hafeez Baba Nagar in the city.
