Dharamshala, May 25 -- Police in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district have registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after recovering heroin, locally known as "chitta," from a house in Palampur subdivision and arrested three persons including a woman.
Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI today that on May 24, a team from Nagri area under Palampur Police Station recovered 16.06 grams of chitta/heroin from the residence of Priya Devi, a resident of village Nagri, Post Office Chachian.
