Agartala, May 12 -- The Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) has called for a comprehensive report from the Tripura government on the implementation of menstrual leave and related welfare initiatives for women employees and female students in the state.
Taking suo motu cognizance, THRC has launched an inquiry to determine whether the state has introduced or is deliberating on policies, proposals, consultations, or action plans regarding menstrual leave, health support, attendance relaxation, workplace adjustments, or other measures benefitting women in government and private sectors, as well as educational institutions.
