Nashik, Sept. 7 -- Thousands of devotees across the city took part in the immersion ceremony of Lord Ganesha after the 10 days festival on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi today.
On the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, the main Ganesh Immersion Procession started on Saturday at 11 am from Wakdi Barav in Bhadrakali.
The immersion procession started in a shower of flowers with lezim and dhol tashas. A force of three thousand police was deployed for this immersion procession.
