Tirumala, Sept. 23 -- Thousands of devotees took a holy dip in the sacred Swamy Pushkarini on Wednesday morning during the Chakra Snana Mahotsavam, the concluding major event of the nine-day annual mega religious festival Brahmostavam at Tirumala.
Earlier, the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, and the anthropomorphic form of Lord Sri Venkateswara, Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, were offered the auspicious Snapana Tirumanjanam, followed by a series of rituals amid the chanting of divine mantras.
