Srinagar, June 22 -- Thousands of devotees on Monday participated in the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela at the revered Mata Ragnya Devi Temple in Tulmulla village of Ganderbal district, one of the most significant religious occasions for the Kashmiri Pandit.
Devotees from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and across the country gathered at the shrine from the early hours of the day to pay obeisance to Goddess Ragnya Devi, popularly known as Mata Kheer Bhawani.
The temple complex witnessed a large number of devotees carrying rose petals and offerings diyas as they made their way towards the sacred spring within the shrine premises.
