Anantapur, June 17 -- : Thieves destroyed an SBI ATM kiosk and made away with equipment at Bukkarayasamudram in the wee hours on Wednesday.
DSP Srinivasulu told the media that some thieves smashed the glass door and destroyed the State Bank of India ATM, located on the Tadipatri highway. They made away with the ATM equipment. Interestingly, the ATM kiosk is located about 100 meters away from the police station.
DSP Srinivasulu, Inspector Subba Rayudu and sub-inspector Ramprasad examined the ATM kiosk. The sniffer dogs were pressed into service to get clues. The police found the ATM equipment at Akuledu village of Singanamala mandal.
