Mumbai, July 31 -- What began as a satirical digital retort has morphed into cinematic history, as filmmakers officially announced The Accidental Cockroach Party, a high-stakes political drama chronicling the meteoric rise of the Gen-Z-driven 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP).
Backed by an estimated budget of Rs 20 crore, the project aims to strip back the layers of the unprecedented 37-day protest at Jantar Mantar that paralyzed the national capital, shook the foundations of India's examination system, and ultimately forced the high-profile resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
