Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of the Thane Crime Branch has busted an alleged sex racket operating from a lodging facility in Rabodi area of neghbouring Thane city and rescued two women, police said on Thursday.
Acting on specific information, the police team laid a trap at the lodging facility through a decoy and apprehended a woman allegedly acting as an agent. Two women were rescued during the operation, officials said.
The rescued women were subsequently shifted to a shelter home for care and rehabilitation.
