Hyderabad, June 18 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday caught a Superintending Engineer of the Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGNPDCL) red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
According to an official statement from the ACB, the accused officer, Jangam Naresh, serving as Superintending Engineer, TGNPDCL, Operations Circle, Mahabubabad, was apprehended at around 800 hours at his residence by the ACB Warangal Range officials.
He was caught while accepting Rs 80,000 as part of a total Rs 1 lakh bribe, having already received Rs 20,000 from the complainant earlier.
