Hyderabad, Sept. 12 -- The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has cautioned people against cyber fraudsters exploiting the viral "1980s retro photo editing" trend to steal sensitive personal and financial information.
According to the advisory, fraudsters are circulating attractive advertisements and messages offering free or unlimited access to retro photo-editing apps and directing users to suspicious links. Victims may be tricked into downloading malicious APK files from unverified sources.
