Hyderabad, Nov. 9 -- In a major coordinated operation across five southern states, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has arrested 81 cybercrime suspects, including seven women, after a 25-day simultaneous crackdown held in October.
In a statement from the DGP office on Sunday said the raids were conducted in Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, making it the first such large-scale operation led by TGCSB.
It said the arrests exposed a network of agents, mule account holders and facilitators involved in routing fraudulent funds.
