Dharwad, April 14 -- On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar, job aspirants in Dharwad on Tuesday staged preparations for a large-scale protest demanding the immediate filling of 2.84 lakh vacant government posts in Karnataka.
The protest, organised under the banner of a state-level student organisation, was scheduled to be held at Jayanagar Circle at 11 am. However, before it could begin, police issued notices to student leaders, triggering apprehension among participants over possible legal action.
