Lucknow, Feb. 24 -- Tension prevailed at the University of Lucknow campus after student groups staged protests over the closure of the historic Lal Baradari building, which has been declared structurally unsafe by the administration.
Members of a joint student front comprising the National Students' union of India (NSUI), Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, and the All India Students' Association (AISA) offered prayers on the road and held an iftar in protest against the sealing of the dilapidated structure.
